Establishing partnerships and relationships with stakeholders, local government and private organisations in delivering Community Technology Centres in the Ekurhuleni Metropolitan Municipality previously disadvantaged areas, thereby making the dream a reality: 

 

“To ensure that all citizens of Ekurhuleni are computer competent and have access to information and communication technologies, the internet and email”

 

The vision and mission fully supports the AsgiSA and JipSA initiatives. 

 

It gives fruition to the vision and passion of the Ekurhuleni Honourable Executive Mayor and the passion of community leaders to provide the management and operational skills and capacity, in supporting sustainable projects and initiatives in uplifting communities by “bringing ICT to the communities, making every citizen computer competent and to have an email address”.

 

 This initiative brings reality to the concerns of National and Local Government to make ICT Access (Internet & Email) affordable to all communities.    

This initiative also envisages skilling the youth, thereby making them employable and alleviating unemployment by networking with recruitment agencies, government agencies and businesses in the Ekurhuleni Metro, thus becoming an enabler for job creation.
